  • 🚀 Launching Crypto4WP: Accepting Stablecoin Payments in WooCommerce

    For a long time, I wanted to accept stablecoin payments (USDT, USDC, DAI) in my WooCommerce store. I looked around, but the plugins I found were either:

    • Limited to Bitcoin/Ethereum only
    • Custodial (funds didn’t go directly to my wallet)
    • Or too complex for simple use cases

    So, I decided to build my own solution. And today, I’m excited to share it with you: Crypto4WP – Stablecoin Payment Gateway for WooCommerce 🎉

    💡 Why Stablecoins?

    Stablecoins like USDT, USDC, and DAI have become the backbone of crypto transactions. Unlike volatile coins, they:

    • Maintain a stable value
    • Are widely accepted across exchanges and wallets
    • Reduce the risk for merchants and buyers

    For WooCommerce store owners, this means you can accept crypto without worrying about sudden price drops.

    ⚙️ What the Plugin Does

    The plugin adds a non-custodial stablecoin payment gateway to WooCommerce. Here’s how it works:

    • Supported Tokens: USDT, USDC, DAI
    • Supported Network: Binance Smart Chain (BSC) (more EVM networks in future)
    • Two Payment Modes:
      • 🔹 Automatic → Customers connect their wallet via WalletConnect and approve payment in one click
      • 🔹 Manual → Customers send the transaction manually and paste the transaction hash
    • Blockchain Verification: Payments are confirmed server-side after the required number of block confirmations
    • Customizable Settings:
      • Your wallet address
      • Infura API key
      • WalletConnect Project ID
      • Conversion coefficient (store currency → stablecoin)
      • Minimum block confirmations

    🔒 Non-Custodial by Design

    One of the most important aspects for me was that funds go straight to the merchant’s wallet. No middlemen, no custodial services.
